Convert SAS 22-pin connections to standard SATA data and power with this reliable adapter. Ideal for separating data and power connections for SATA or SAS drives.

Features:

  • SATA Drives: Connect the SATA data cable to your motherboard and the SATA power cable to your PSU. Ensure BIOS is set to AHCI (or RAID if required).
  • SAS Drives: Connect the SAS data and power cables to SAS SFF-8482 ports and a compatible power supply.

Important:

  • This adapter cannot connect a SAS hard drive to a standard SATA-only motherboard.
  • SAS drives require a SAS-capable motherboard or a SAS controller card, unless the drive supports SATA mode.

Compatibility Requirements for SAS Drives:

  1. Motherboard with SAS support
  2. SAS controller card installed
  3. SAS drive supports SATA mode
